In the midst of the 49 A work and now am needing to reassemble things. A mouse got into the crankcase once upon a time and I need to make sure I don't overlook something in the cleanup process. THere was some rusting caused from urine etc. on some pieces. WHat is the best way to clean this that makes sure I get the acids and residues out and not make a worse problem? Oil pump, governor, block, rods, etc are out of tractor now. Didn't know if to use kerosene only or to do a soap and water then oil it or what. Thanks for your help.
