Looking at a 2020 Diesel at a local brand "x" dealer, who doesn't know anything about it.
Possible years? Horsepower?
Watchouts?
Thx!

The years and info mentioned below are right .
Gas engine is 180ci
Diesel is 202ci
Know very little about the diesel , most around here were gas because they were used as loader and chore tractors running a lot in the winter .
We bought one of the last gassers new first part of '72 with a 48 loader , still have it . It has the reverser trans , straight front axle and power adj rear wheels . I hate to say it but it has been the most used and abused tractor we have . Most of the hours on it are loader use , has close to 4,000hrs . Nothing has been done to it except tires . Hydraulics could be a little faster , it could use another 10hp and it could be easier on fuel but it's a gas engine and it starts good in cold weather . The reverser trans is a must if you do much loader work also it's nice with a bushog behind it . If field work is a priority the hi-lo would probably be better . They are a whole different tractor than the 2010 from front to back . The diesel is the same basic engine as the 2030 , 2630 and also the 40 series only a little smaller , far as I know they are pretty reliable . I am thinking of updating to a 2640 some of these days , I kinda like them and they are not too complicated like the new ones , they are around 70hp that's enough for me .
As far as watchouts I can't think of any real problems that plauged them , maybe someone has more to add . Been a good little tractor , just a little small now for the times .
