Beware!

Check out this site. Patrick Mosset sold an engine to a man over ebay with pictures claiming a hit and miss motor was complete. It was missing a good many parts. He also said that it didn't ahve any cracks or breaks - when there was a clear crack/weld right across the head. All of the pictures were taken such that these things weren't visible. Now after a man paid shipping on a heavy motor he plays stupid and says he didn't know the parts were missing.

I am told that this same guy deals with JD two cylinder parts. So his playing stupid doesn't fly by me. Just let it be known he is crooked and watch out for him!!

I have purchased two tractors from this gentleman and both have been exactly what he said they were. His price was right and shipping was fairly priced. I have talked to him several times on the phone and have been nothing but happy with his service.

publishing names and heresay comments is a very slippery slope. There is no of us that can defend slanted heresay. Matters like this need to be handled privately.

And if they can't be handled privately due to lack of agreement they should be brought before the public. People that sell on the internet must learn that their business lives and dies by the internet and should resolve ALL issues before they MUST and SURELY become public.

Isn't this what small claims court is for ?

And, if you don't have an agreement that can be presented to the court, then shame on you.

If you have a case, take it to the judge.

If someone put my name up on a b-board, and it was later proved that it was because they were wrong, I'd sue the them down to their steel wheel lugs !

Beware...you didn't post your e-mail address. John T's a lwayer. I bet he might say you weren't looking to do anything but deliver slander with malicious intent.

Be careful !

Nothing was done here other than information from one message board was conveyed to another. And the info. form the first message board was left as a reference link, and it came from the buyer's mouth. IF these jokers want to hide behind their computer monitors for equipment sales then we need to have their names discussed on the computer monitors. Next, it is 100% impractical to bring something like this to small clames court. One man is from Canada, the other the US. If the buyer wastes his time taking up a ralatively small suit like this he gets screwed, if he lets it go he gets screwed too. No easy way!

Good day

There is nothing illegal in what was said. No names were mentioned and nothing was presented but the truth. If a person doing business is up front a takes care of complaints there wont be any bad publicity. At least I don't violate copy right laws by posting copies of copy righted material form manuals and parts C/Ds on the internet, talk about being sued.

I too have had problems with Patrick Mosset. He lied to me about the shipping costs and refuses to make it right. I posted a problem with him on another board and recieved a few emails with similar stories. If you deal with him beware.

Before someone ruins someones reputation he should try very hard to work out the problem with the seller. It does not sound to me this guy did.I too have heard much about Patrick Mosset, all very good things. It is pretty easy to bad mouth someone without knowing all the facts, and without them there to defend themselves, not right, but easy.

I have dealt with patrick more than once and not only has he been fair, he was very helpful in getting the tractor delivered just as it was advertised. I am very satisfied ,and would not hesitate to deal with him again. He was fair and honorable.
