where can I buy a temp & amp ga for my John deere without breaking the BAnk? also wonderwhy the shaft in the back seems as though itis not connected to any thing also hyd make a nice wine while running? where should I start ..... Thanks

The truth is that you won't find any original/reproduction gages for cheap. Expect to pay about $50.00 each for them. Sharp's has them at www.oldjd4u.com Also you can buy a complete set of 3 gages from Antique Guages Inc., 12287 Old Skipton Road, Cordova, MD 21625, (410)822-4963, and expect to pay about $145.00 for all three, shipping included.

I'm guessing you mean the pto shaft. It turns freely by hand untill its engaged. And then will still turn in one direction when tractor not running. My MT hydraulic lines whine some, its a vibration noise, as when I rest my foot against the supply line at the platform it stops. My MT power troll will lift the tractor front off the ground, I believe their rated at 1100 lbs, and should stay up with the tractor off most of the day as mine will.
