What's wrong with the H that makes it impractical or impossible to fix?

It is too small for me, has a locked up transmission and many other reasons. Also I need the money for my '49 G. As I am only 14, I dont have the money to restore both tractors.

You just posted one. LOL Tell me more about it. I might be interested. I'm working on a 39 H and I know I'll need to find a bunch more parts. Thanks Frank M.

Try the classifieds section of this site - if you have pictures, you can use the photo ad section.

I looked and it costs 15 dollars to post a parting out ad. Is there any where I can do it for free

Well, you've basically already advertised it by posting on this board, which some people get a little testy about. Other than that, I think you're out of luck on this site, if they want you to pay for a parting-out ad. I guess you could always advertise it one piece at a time (ala Johnny Cash, lol), or just advertise it as a JD H for parts or possible restoration. You never know, somebody might want the whole thing - H series tractors are pretty popular little buggers.
