I have a 1965 4020 diesel. The main clutch slips ONLY when the pto is engaged. The clutch is only a couple of years old and has only been adjusted once since it was new. The PTO clutch has not been touched as far as i know in ages. is there some adjustment or something simple to look at before i take it to the shop to have new clutces put in it? Tnaks for your suggestions

If your 4020 has a Syncro Range transmission and if the PTO clutch is really bad, the PTO clutch operating bearing is moving so far that it's pushing on the transmission clutch operating levers. IT'S TIME FOR A NEW PTO CLUTCH!
