I'm working on a 60 JD that was not running for 5-10 years. Replaced most of electrical system and replaced carb gaskets. Tractor was running for 1 min. at a time. It would run for 45 sec. then under full choke keep going for another 10 - 15 seconds. I replaced the screen by fuel inlet on carb and cleaned screen by sediment bowl. Right now I can't even get it to fire. Fuel is getting to carb, but even under full choke it seems I cant get gas to combustion chamber (plugs stay dry). Any ideas??

sounds like the main jets are clogged try spraying some gumout carb cleaned in to them and or take it back off and sock it in carb cleaner for a day or 2 you can get a 2.5 galloin of it at the parts store but it is a little priceie or you can buy a new carb for around $400
