When i went to silve dollar city, i went on a water ride, and when i got off, i was walking away and looked in the 2 foot deep water and come to see an unsyled A on full steel, front spoke, NOT CUTOFFS! back skeliton rears,NOT CUT OFFS! Strait hood, no dents, complets, painted purple and just sitting in 2 foot of water. A VERY NICE A SITTING IN WATER WITH WHEELS WORTH OVER $3000 AND A TRACTOR WORTH MORE!!!!! !! I sat there and stared for a long time while everyone else i was with kept saying COME ON. i finally left, but im still upset to see this.

why dont you get off your butts and do something about it. get out there and find out who owns them and try to see if they will sell them cheap so you can get those grate as heck tractors back to original shape. i would love to get my hands on one of those tractors but i already have a 1937 john deere A that i love to play with all the time. if you feel the same way try to get the tractors and repair them into running order. if you dont try you arnt a true john deere person and i pitty you!

Have pictures of 3 JDs one being a BO sitting in a playground of a camp grounds last exit before you cross over to the UP in MI. Everything possible on these tractors are full of sand. Kids love them.

There is a large park/childrens peting zoo in the Kansas city area that has an open fan A with round spoke rear wheels sitting out on static display. The kids all had a ball at the park but I went home feeling very depressed.

Must be a new exhibit, wasn't there last year when I visited. Of course nothin green would have escaped me, maybe the purple paint thru me off. I agree, I hate to see any equipment misstreated. Almost in the same catagory as vandalism, of course an owner can do with it as they see fit.
