How do you remove the nozzle from center of carberator off of a styled B? I have had good luck pulling nozzle, on a big nut G carberator, we taped 1/4 threads in nozzle and pulled it out with a 1/4 inch bolt, but the nozzle on a B is much to small. I have a set of drill bits from Roberts and have repaired several big nut G carbs but I am afraid to put much pressure on top of nozzle on this carb. Thanks for your help. 4020-AL

Look at this web site. They have detailed instructions for doing this with a "B." I think it's under the Meli's School section. Link

I use the biggest threader I can and then some all thready with washer and nut and pull it out. Wouldn't recommend messing with the top part in carb throat, just pull it out. You might heat it some then let it cool prior to pulling.

I pulled a tight one out of my unstyled B carb with I think a 3-16 ?? tap and a screw and had to use double or three even jam nuts because singles stripped the threads on the bolt but the tap and threads held ok in the nozzle and it pulled out . Good Luck Ol John T
