Water pipes, cast frame

wheres the best place to look for new replasement upper and lower .Any $$ idea.Its a 44 A with cast frame. any idea on how much that weights verses a welded angle iron unit.

Not sure about the upper on a '44, is it a casting with a steel pipe brazed in? If so, K and K will have the steel pipe only or you can send in your whole one for a refurbished one maybe. If buying only the pipe and trying to do it yourself, be careful. Getting the angle and position right is tricky, I took mine to a local welding shop and they still missed it a little.

The lower pipe, can be bought from a local muffler supply shop or from K and K also.
