i suck at typing so i will make it quick the 112 pulls better than the 140. but the 140 has a little more power. i would recomend the 112 by far and make sure it has a tecumshe engine on it

Deere/Kohler engines are good durable units. We beat the heck out of one on a 140 for 28 years before it gave up. Repowered it with a Briggs Vangard V-Twin. Also has been a excellent engine (so far,). Love that tractor.

Kohler makes good motors. We have a Kohler that hadn't been rebiult for 28 years and it ran fine. We used it 5 hours a week.
