Ben, check the inside of your cap for excess carbon buildup. Also, check that the tip of the rotor is clean and not carboned up. A lite cleaning with 400 grit sand paper, very carefully, should do the job. Lyle

Ben, are you running solid core wires? Don't use carbon core wires with a mag. That is what I have been told. As for plugs. Lots of people don't like Champions. Me included. I run Autolite. Champions would foul out in about 2 months. I have had my Autolites in for almost 2 years. I have a early styled B. Your unstyled will take different plugs. Can't help with the number. Good luck.

I have had the same problem with Champion plugs. After only a short time, in running, the right plug started missing. I went to another brand and haven't had any problems, since.

Ben----- Check the steal tube the spark plug wires go through, sounds like you have a bad spark plug wire and it is arcing inside the tube,if you have another wire, run it outside the tube and see if the skip goes away.--Pull the mag cap, check for cracks,or may have cracked the spark plug on insatllation? good luck.
