I wanted to know if a 2010 gas could handle a 7 foot [1500#] rough cut mower? Would be mowing about 10 acres of crp.Is there enough HP [46] and will hydralics lift it?Looking at Land Pride or Kingkutter-any comments on these?

Hmmmmm!!!! I believe you would be allright with that size mower. If you got into some really thick stuff you can always not take a full bite. Are you considering a 3pt or drag? As far as lift goes a 3pt may be a little to much for it but I think a drag would be fine. You do have remote hydraulics on the tractor don't ya?

I was thinking 3 point. I've got a 5 footer now and can run it in 5th gear with no bog down but the ground speed is too fast for good cutting. Thanks CJ

I have got a 5' King Kutter for my 135 massey and it does it pretty well but I got a 6' Rhino deck given too me here while back and just the deck without any gearbox, blade carrier or blades made the 135 squat down quite a bit, It is the heavy duty deck however not the light one. I'll stick with my original idea that a 7' drag type would be ok but the 3pt would just be a little too much for that size tractor. I know this is covering ground that has allready been covered but thought it worth mentioning again.
