can anyone tell me the story on the "left handed D?" i didnt know there was such a thing, but saw one the other day for sale. anyone need a good one? thanks

The way I remember, the Ds were built with the steering wheel closer to the left side of the platform due to the fact that the steering rods went directly to the front axle--until 1931 or 1935. (bad memory, and too late to look up). That year, the whole steering system was changed, and the steering wheel moved about to the middle (a little to the right) of the platform. So left hand D just means an older D.
