I paid $3,700 for a 1956, early series 4-roller 420C with non-angling dozer blade, ran good and had good trans and ~50% track with runnable but loose idlers, but since put ~$500 into rewiring and sheet metal, and ~$2,500 into the undercarriage (idlers and rollers) and left steering clutch housing and to add a PTO. Parts availability at the local JD dealer is good, and there are places to get used parts. Check with Lavoy on the crawlers board, too. i forgot his web site, but he has a first class web site. Just as a guide. Maybe $2,500 to $5000+ for yours, depending on whether it has a dozer blade, kind of dozer blade, 1 or 2 valve hydraulics, PTO, 3-pt, condition of undercarraige, etc. excuse the long post, hope this helps some, and good luck. these are good little dozers.
