I purchased a 1937 B on factory round spoke wheels. After the purchase of the tractor I learned that this tractor is allegedly one of about 500 built. This is because of the placement of the oil pressure adjustment. It is a cap screw on the front face of the governor housing, directly under the fanshaft. I was wondering if anyone knows of another tractor like this, or can tell me whether this is a fact or just some of the plentiful tractor lore roving around our hobby. thanks for any assistance.

curt, AS BMAN said, this was very common. If my memory serves me right all short frame unstyled tractors had the external adjusting screw under the fan shaft flange in front of the governor case. In mid year model 1937 the tractor went to the long frame and that is when the oil pressure adjusting screw was relocated to the inside of the engine case on top of the pressure regulating valve / filter head.

I agree with BMAN, I have a 1935 that is like that.

All 1935, 36 and most 37 B's have the oil pressure adjustment in front of the governor.
