The shutter control lever on the pedestal of a B that I recently bought is stuck solid(I mean like its welded solid) The tractor has an older restoration but I have removed the paint as best I can. Any ideas on getting it to move. If I take the two bolts out the bottom will this let the pedestal come loose. Fuel lever works fine.

Hey dave- The answer to your question is YES, if you remove those 2 bolts the tower will come off, then loosen the square lock bolts on the levers and pick up on the tower and the rod will come down and you can remove the whole assembly and clean everything. there is a spring on the bottom of the rod. I did this on my A so I could change a broken lever.
hope this helps -morgan
