j staco, the governor oil line supplies a stream of oil to the governor that kind of squirts on the fan gear set & is then splashed & slung around to oil the governor bearings. The oil enters the mag end bearing from a hole in the casting that slung oil flows through.
~It has to run a while & at a good RPM before the oil actually gets to the bearings.

the oil passage to the fan set must be blocked. I sprayed wd40 in and blocked off the oil pressure line and hooked an air line to the governor supply line. nothing comes through anywhere.how can clear this

That oil passage is very small, it runs from oil pressure gauge line hole straight left to spray on larger fan drive gear on governor shaft. From there oil is slung to every thing else. Try a grease gun in that hole to get higher pressure? Then air again to move the grease out as that will stop oil too at least for an hour or two.

You're welcome. I'm glad it worked too, sure beats tearing it down just to clear that little hole.

staco, you will probably have to pull it apart & see where the blockage is.
