Some of that answer kind of depends on what you are working on and where you are located. Common tractors perhaps have a good local salvage yard and good pricing. More rare tractors are going to be a little different. Welcome to the board.

Might try Stephens Farms at Dunkerton, IA. Phone 319-822-7348. Have had real good luck with him.

Rich, there are two magazines you should get. Green Magazine 402-643-6269, www.GreenMagazineOnline.com. Also Two-Cylinder Mag. 319-345-6060, www.two-cylinder.com. Both have large number of vinders and good articles on tractors. You also can go to the left side of this page and click on Classified Ads and get some things. There are a lot of good places you will find as you follow this board. Great help here also. Glad to have you on board.

A good place for used and new repro parts is Sharp's in MO. Their web page is www.oldjd4u.com

They are great people to work with. Give them a try!!
