What number was the first B with a factory water pump?? When did the square axles start?? THANKS

Many were updated to waterpumps.....ours were used in a mounted 226 cornpicker, and overheated, until the waterpumps were installed...

Farmboy 2,
Ser.# 248290 was the first square axle..... ....Ser.# 306600 was the first water pump.

I have B s#305272 with a water punp that looks factory. Was this an option at this time or was it added on?

Aaron,Your pump was added later..... under certain conditions the tractor would overheat....so the first chance they had.... a pump system was added. The way we used our "B" it never had overheating problems without a pump.

Farmboy2, The part book list SN 3066000 as the first # w/water pump and list the clamshell fender which was designed for the square axle at SN 260984. gwh
