Can I remove the radiator CORE from the radiator without removing the ENTIRE radiator assembly from the tractor? Any help would be great. Thanks.

JKC, you mighty if you really worked at it. Some of the bolts will be hard to get at. I'm not sure why you would want to as you will have most of the radiator apart anyway. It will be much easier & you will get a better job if you just pull the radiator before starting....

JKC....I have found that if you apply a moderate amount of heat to the bolt and keep it on THE BOLT for quite a while so it heats the entire length of the bolt, the bolt will expand....crush the rust..... then shrink back when it cools. You'll have to do it several times.....once a day for several days... then the NEXT day try to back it out. Each time you heat the bolt you'll find that the heat stays on the bolt better and doesn't transfer to the housing as much, so multiple times is better than one.

I don't mind pulling the entire radiator, but I cannot seem to budge those two bolts that go through the bottom of the tractor frame and into the radiator housing. Is there some trick to getting penetrant into those bolts when gravity is a hinderance, rather than a help? Thanks.

JKC, just pour some heat to the bolt heads with a torch & if they come loose with a little effort you are in good shape. If they won't come loose with a little heat & some force, just drill a 1/2" hole about 3/4" deep in the center of each bolt head & break the bolt heads off by turning with a socket, then once the radiator is out, use heat & penetrating oil to get the rest of the bolt out.
~You won't be able to get penetrating oil into those bolt holes with the radiator still on the tractor. If the bottom radiator bolts are rusted tight you probably won't get the core loose without breaking some of the tank bolts upon removal & will more than likely have to drill some of those out.
