What is the correct torque for the head bolts(nuts)on a 1944 A John Deere. It has .045 pistons and is an "all fuel" tractor, but only gets gas. Is it worth the trouble of trying to get it to run on kero, or should I just run high octane gas for more HP?

I have a 41 A and the book that came with my torque wrench says 150 lbs and that's what i've always used.

Aaron,
An A will probably want around 130 ft lbs. of head bolt torque.

An all fuel is a lower compression engine. High octane gas will make less horsepower with a lower compression ratio. Kerosene is lower octane than pump gas, so it will make more power in an all fuel engine. As a practical matter, simple convenience will probably outweigh the desire to always get that last bit of horsepower, so you'll end up using the lowest octane pump gas.
