Can enyone tell me the dimensions of a triple box wagon box, I am building on to 1/8 inch scale and would appreciate any information

check for a series of books written by Cook. thye are called 500 things to make for the farm. also 380 and 600 things. there is in one of them a plan for building a double box, a triple is only one more side board, I think. good luck

I'm not familiar with the term "triple box" - could you tell me more about them?

Where I grew up in Indiana, most folks used a flat-bed wagon which was 7' X 14' and usually had 18" high sideboards for hauling small grain. Sometimes some higher sideboards were added for hauling ear corn. The front-to-back stringers were usually 4" X 6" lumber and the joists were ususally a 4" X 4". Flare-box wagons were more common in Illinois, as I recall.

I'm still curious about "triple box" wagons and hope to hear back from you.
