I have a 9N17014 open end wrench, 1-1/16"X 5/8". There are 1 inch graduations stamped on one side. Other marking are Ford USA, and M26. Can you tell me the purpose of this wrench?

Most of the fasteners on the 9N, 2N, and 8N will come off with this wrench. Inch graduations were also used to measure furrow depth.

The 1 inch markings on the side are used to measure how much gas is left in the gas tank.

Larry,

You might want to try the Ford 9N, 2N, 8N Discussion Forum - there might be more knowledgeable Ford folk there than here. It could be an automobile or truck wrench, too.

Good luck,

Stan
