I'm new to the whole scale model thing. As you could probably guess by my name, I have a bias for red. When looking around on the net I've seen lots of H's for instance but there seems to be a large variation in detail. Just looking at Ertl i've seen some tractors that are all shiny red, including the rims. I've also seen some with the galv rims, some with black carb, some with decals, etc.

What are all the differences?

Thanks

I guess that there are three classes of toy tractors. There are sandbox grade, collector or shelf model and then the precision class. That is the way I kind of think of it.
