I acquired this ashtray many years ago, and never really thought much about it. Now I have become curious, and I hope that someone here on this board can assist me. It was made by International Harvester (it"s engraved on the back) and on the front it says "International Motor Trucks". It seems to be made of copper, judging by the patina it has on it, and it"s pretty heavy. In the corner on the left side, when you look at it from the front, there is the date of July and it looks like it"s either 1937 or 1939. The "engine block" is secured to the base by screws. It has six "cylinder bores" for holding cigarettes, or maybe pens. I know it"s not much to go on, and I hope the pictures are good enough for anyone to see the details. If you have any info, I would appreciate it very much, and if you would like larger detail pictures, please let me know. Thanks in advance for any and all information that can be provided.
