Alan, This price is a little on the high side, $5,000 is more of an average price. However, if it is real good (good tires, sheet metal, runs good, etc.) then it may be worth it. Make sure you run it for awhile and check everything out- like the other guys said.

Allan, The price seems a good starting point, but maybe a little steep in my neck of the woods, NE TX, if the motor is rebuilt then ask for reciepts, also how do the tires look, rear tires can set you back a bit, also test hydraulics using a pressure gauge and check all fluids, I would rather see slightly dirty oil than brand new oil, all my masseys have mediocre power steering but run it a while and see how you like it, I would put something heavy on the 3 pt. and see if it will lift. I have a 180 and really like it, I have never seen one with a cab if you buy it post a pic if you can. Johnny

What kind of options,(single or dual remotes, multi-power, spinout wheels, etc.) The 180 is a good tractor but is not as big a tractor as it looks, it is basically the same as a 175 except for the tall front end and the platform operators station. If the tractor is diesel and the engine can be verified as being rebuilt and the overall condition is good it is probably worth 6000.00. I would suggest that if possible that you use the tractor enough to get it hot and see how the lift and auxilary hydraulics and the steering works.
