When I pull the throttle lever all the way down it
doesn't stay put; it springs back up to a lower RPM level. Is this part of the governor mechinism?
Sometimes I need the hammer down for a few minutes and its frustrating that I need to keep my hand on
the lever.
Thanks for any info.

On my '35 is a spring loaded friction disc behind the dash. loosen the clamp & compress the load spring a little more - voila!

Thanks. I will try that. I didn't think I'd have to go that far to get help. Hope all is well in Denmark.

Yup!
It is mainly in old poetry, that something is rotten in Denmark.
Aren't you paying quite an overprice for your 35's overthere? I paid just about $250 for my 3 cyl. diesel - allright, I had to do some work on it, but less than $100 worth, so...
My 35 Standard gas cost me $50 plus a case of beer. I got my TE-A20 for driving it away - Yes, it moved under its own power, no rework done!

Yes. We sure are compared to you. I live in southern Ontario just south of Windsor and I paid $5000 Cdn for a MF35 gas with a loader. This is considered a reasonable price for the tractor. It runs real well but I need to fix the gas guage and tractormeter. These replacement parts are very expensive. Maybe I should try sourcing the parts from Europe. But I still like the little tractor.....she's not pretty but works real good.
I was in Europe in 1999 but didn't make it to Denmark. I hope to visit some day.
