Hello Cam: I just came across your posting, and thought I would respond. There is some thought that the 11-22's were originaly orange at one time. There are are two in Ontario, The one that we own plus one other, they are both somewhat the same colour,..... ..forest green, both with red wheels. Our's was orange at one time, though black and white catalogue views suggest they were darker in colour than orange if not dark green. Sawyer-Massey did use the colour orange as we have a threshing machine jack which displayed such paint under the grime. Where are you located? Our 11-22 is a 1918, the other in Ontario is at least a 1920. Decaling differs with the age of the tractor. The Sawyer-Massey company logo on 1918 and back is located on the outside upper rear corner of the inside fender. By 1920 the tractors no longer sported the inside fender, just full round fenders and the logo was moved to the fuel tank ends. I have not found logos in decal form that I like. the colouring tends to be not quite right. In regards to striping I have seen white and yellow used on the 20-40's I have seen, our's just had red, but we added an accent colour to that. The other in the province just has red striping. Catalogue views appear to show two colours being used, possibly white and yellow. We also own a Sawyer-Massey #1, 22x36 inch wooden threshing machine, approx 1920. The #1 is what Sawyer would have sold with the 11-22 as an outfit. Also we have a S-M #2, 28x44 inch wooden threshing machine as well, somewhat older. If you would like some photos, I will scan some and send them off to you. Would like to find a Bennet aircleaner which was used on the ERD engines. We have ours but would like to locate one for our friend. All the best,..... ..Robert
