I am looking for brake drums, shoes, and a rim for NF for a 1950 MH 30. Brake drums are approx. 9.5" OD, 2" deep with 2.75" splined hole. Won't press off of shaft, will have to split them. Any info is appriciated. Thanks, Rich

Did you ever find brake shoes for your MH 30? I am going to rebuild the brakes on my MH 30. It has the band type brakes. The replacement lining is not available from the dealer. Any ideas where I may get rebuilt parts?

I got mine off by using the drawbar support.
The one with the 15, 1/2in holes spaced 1/2in apart. I used 2 bolts and a spacer on the middle hub for support. Did you try working it out just a little? If
you can, you can spray some wd40 behind it to work it off. You may be safe using heat on it too as the shaft is 2in thick approx. I have a spare mh30 for parts but it has the band type brakes. I live in south east ontario.

Try "Rust Buster" or "PB Blaster"... Patience is a virtue... Have some possibilities for parts or may have a good supplier or two... e-mail me if you need. Save what you can. The parts are getting harder to find in some cases. Never heard of one of these that wouldn't come off eventually, You'll prob need to make a puller like Blue said. (listen to him, he knows what he's doing) Good luck - ALAN
PS change the seals while you're in there... approx $12 a side and save yourself some headaches later.
