1155 massy

ok guys i need your help, im not much of a massy man but i have been looking at tractors for a couple of months and so far what i have found in my price range is a 1655 oliver 1950 oliver and 2150 oliver all nice tractors but needs some work the guy wants 7000 for em. looking through the paper today i spotted a massy 1155 with cab ac/and heat runs excellent and teh guy wants 6800 for it. my question is, is this an overall good tractor? where they just offerd in perkins or could they be retrofitted with a cat? the guy says this one haws a cat motor but none of my books show it so i thought i would turn to yall for help. i dont need this much hp but it would nice just in case. he also has a few combines to i will go look at.(a IH 403 and new Massy w/1200 hrs. he wants 1200 for the IH and 10,000 for the Massy. good deal or nor?) thanks for the help guys!!

1155 were very good tractors but they never had cats in them they do have v8 perkins

hi john, I agree so much with you,
that 1155 is a stud horse. much more than the 2745 that replaced it,
Controls are simpler, and its better looking too,
I never liked that glasssed in cab looks wierd!
I got sidtracked by a 2775 at a dealer,
but I said forget it after I found out that the steering was stiff, and the 3 point didnt work,
Im glad i got an 1155,better tractor,& easyer to live with,
