I'm looking for a front end loader for my 1952 TO-30.
What do you guys recommend and what should I expect to pay for it. Also aer there any problems that I might encounter using a loader on the TO-30. Bob

I have the to30 and wagnerloader. The center ram bucket has provided me with good service for the past 4 years. The only weak points with the loader are these:
1) the bucket ram has a threaded shaft where the pivot block that attaches to the bucket screws on. If you look at the design, all the bucket weight is trying to flex the ram shaft at that point. The square end is threaded on and is smaller than the shaft thus a weak point. It breaks !
2) Tthe loader rams are single acting - thereby no down power. The loader drops by gravity only. This can severely limit your ablility to get the front end out of the mud and makes it hard to dig down. The bucket is however, double action. The carry capacity is very limited. I have a 38 inch farm (manure) bucket when filled with wet dirt, it will hardly lift. Probably maxes out at 750 lbs or so. I also have a 6 foot snow bucket which works very well. It's made of light material.

The tractor, although very tough is famous for the front end twisting backwards, putting a bow in one or both radius rods, especially while moving with a load in the bucket. When this happens the frame that supports the front axle twists slightly causing the loader pump drive shaft to rub on the inside of the axle pivot. Eventually this will snap off the drive plate bolted on the crankshaft pulley. It is preceded by lots of squeeking.

Any add on system has it's limitations and weak points. I don't know about other makes. The wagner pump system has readily available parts.
Price ?? can't help you, mine came with it.

Good luck.

Dennis-
Where are those Wagner parts available from?
I have a WM3 that I need a shaft for (between the pump and the tractor pulley).

I got my pump shaft, drive plate (the one that bolts onto the crankshaft pulley) and the ujoint type disc that connects the shaft to the pump at my local -believe it or not! - John Deere Dealer who also sells MF parts. I just called him and he gets his parts from a wholesaler called TISCO. He says it's a national company and any parts supplier probably deals with them. I'll email you some other info.
