I have two tractors serial numbers 200045 and 201029, trying to find when they were made.

I have Wallis 12-20 serial no 200137 which was made in 1929 (according to the date stamped on the engine) or 1930 (according to sales literature).

I would be very interested in swapping pictures if you would like to contact me.

Thanks

Tim

Bill, The date your tractors were made should be on top of the trans. housing, like 4 29 36. Are these tractors for sale? Thanks Dennis

If you are talking about the Massey-Harris Wallis tractor, they were made in Racine at what had been the J I Case Plow Works. The J I Case Plow Works, Racine, WI, was purchased by M-H in 1928 in order to get the rights to the unique, light weight design of the popular Wallis tractor.
They continued to build the M-H tractors in Racine until after the merger with Ferguson in 1953. In 1955, both the M-H and Ferguson tractors were being built in Detroit.
