I am posting this message for a friend who purchased an industrial massey ferguson tractor from a dealer of used farm equipment. The dealer said it was an 1165 model. The decals have been painted over so when he asked the farm equipment dealer who sells new MF equipmentif he had any record of this particular model , he didn't. The tractor is painted yellow and is very heavy. Is there anyone out there who knows anything about these particular tractors, what the strong and weak points are, and a scource for parts and service manual. Thanks for any help you may have.

I just bought a (used) 1992 MF1160 (industial)Its a wonderful machine. The dealer told me its the same as an MF1165.
I'm having a heck of a time finding any manuels for it. By chance do you know of any?

the only thing close to the tractor you asked about is a 3165 with a g-176 gas or ad4-203 diesel they also had a 2165. if you live in australia they made mf 1100s tractors that were kitted out as ind.tractors in western australia for road work on main roads

Hi Terry
I was a Massey Ferguson mechanic for 27 years & I never heard of am MF1165 Industrial that don't mean there was not one just that I never heard of one. There was an MF30 which is the industrial version of the MF165.
