I have purchase a 165 and the left arms are very worn, the arm that slide onto the implement will not stay inpostion.it is hanging down.. how much should I expect to pay for new or used ones. also under the rear wheel housing, it looks like a place for the 3point hook arm stabilize bar to connect is broken off. how should I be prepared to pay for this piece new or used and the stabilizer bar. I am located near Atlanta,Ga USA, any help will be greatly appreicated. I need help where to find parts new and used.
Thanks
gbj

I had the same problem with a MF135. The arms are expensive ie $500 Aust ($250 US) a pair from Bareco in Aust. - Other generic suppliers must exist in the states. Main hassle is replacing the pin which bolts to the diff housing. The diff trumpet must be removed to get at the nut inside. This job I have left for another day. I don't use stabliser arms but the check chains that connect to the diff housing need to be in good order.

Opportunity knocks: A suggestion? Forget the 165
parts search, fabricating, etc. Jump over to
e bay auctions, where that 180D was not to much
over 1,200. E mail the seller, buy this stronger
tractor, with stress plates for the engine block,
an actual treaded operator's station, 63 Hp. The
165 is a lot of busy work for another marginal M-F tractor. Let the next owner take on the 165
and it's weaknesses. Track ebay completed items
to connect on the 180D, ASAP. Good Luck!
