After market PS. You could attempt a car/truck
unit, or price a hydraulic manifold block, using the central hydraulics pump, less detail. The 3
point would only work(correctly) on the later 44
Specials(mid-'54 thru '55). These had a heavier cast bracket bolted across the transmission cover.
Previous 3 point attempts were failures. E mail
the bracket casting #, I'll confirm if you are
good to go with "Hitch-All" 3 point. Good luck.

I attached a dodge pickup P/S pump last night and the P/S worked fine but the fluid heated up pretty good so I'll look for a small cooler..I have a P/S diverter block but it doesnt have any hoses ,and I plan to install a loader and I figured that would be enough load on the pump by itself.this tractor has a cylinder and a draft control looking thing, but the end of the ran does'nt hook to amything, the huydraulic pump works fine ,but the cylinder doesn't move.I plan to install some sort of 3 point later. the ser# tag is pitted so bad the numbers can't be read.is there any other way to tell the year?

Chris,
Look at the left side of the cast mount bracket that the mounted cylinder attaches to. The correct casting has #766771M1 on it. A green light to consider "Hitch-All". Good luck.

thats the one I have766771m1.what is the plate in front of the cylinder mount plate, the one the hydraulic hoses go into and come out of? and have you ever been in the hydraulic control ,mine does'nt work at all but the pump works fine lots of oil when pressure line in disconnected but nothing at remote connectors and the cylinder does'nt move

Chris,
In front of the cast bracket is the hydraulic
manifold. Due to age, neglect of new filter(by
right return line at front oil tank), you probably have a stuck valve or weak spring in
the manifold or mounted cylinder valve. The
front oil tank may contain decades of sludge. Good luck.
