I've heard you can "by-pass" the multi-power and convert it to a " 6-speed ". Is this possible or affordable or is it just bad info. How hi-tech. is this or is it fairly simple? Will You have engine braking afterwards?

I have a 150 with multipower and love the tractor. It will start on a 20 degree day as easy as a 100 degree day, uses very little fuel and is comfortable to operate. I paid $4,500 with 2,800 hours and good rubber. Search the archives, just type in multi-power and you will get about 200 responses. There is a good response on Nov. 26,200 titled Re:MF 175 multipower that explains a conversion. Let me know if you can't find it.
