I am interested in a "Landscape Rake". I live on five acres and recently used a stump grinder to get rid of 35 stumps (left over from a toronado in 1997). While I was raking the dirt back into the holes with a garden rake, I thought that my FE35 would probably do a great job if I had a rake. Does anybody have any experience with one? Looks pretty handy, although a little pricey.
Thanks,
C. T.

CT:

Buy one now. Once you have one you will wonder how you ever got by without one. You can use them for all types of work. I have a 6' wide model and use it behind a MF 65 on my 5 acre lot.

Just be sure to buy a heavy duty one. The cheap ones wont last long. I bought a used heavy duty one earlier this year for about $300. I found it from a private individual located close to me. It was used but in excellent conditon. Don't waste your money buying a new one when a used one can be found if you look hard.

Hope this helps you out.

Mike

I got a Landpride I use for fixing up the driveway (road)every spring. I like it very well. I also use it for cleaning up after cutting up trees. Their is always so much crap that you can't pick up, except with a rake

I just had a pasture bulldozed for a riding arena. The footing is a great sand mix but I've got rose rocks throughout the sand layer. (Rose rocks are supposed to be rare but they are plentiful at my house!!!) Would a landscape rake work to drag the rocks (biggest are only slightly larger than a softball) off of the riding surface without displacing all of the sand???

Thanks!
