I'm doing a bit of research for my Dad who is interested in restoring his 1960 MF35 3 cylinder diesel. He knows the original colours were red and grey and would like to know what paint chip numbers are the correct shades of red and grey for that year. Do you know where I can find this information?

Thanks for your help.

Sharon

Sharon,
If your dad is going to restore the tractor then I suggest that you go to the link above for manuals and purchase the parts manual for your tractor. In the back of the manual will be the original part numbers for the paint specific for your tractor which can then be cross-matched at the local MF dealer.

I'm in the process of restoring my 58 202 and find the parts manual an invaluable resource as I am now able to identify the original part number of the part I need and give it to the dealer and receive the correct part the first time.

Also, spend time doing research first. Check out the posts on the other boards for painting and restoration. I find that they have some great advice and it's always best to learn from other people's mistakes!

Sharon, I believe you need MF Super Red and MF Stoneleigh grey, both available from your local MF dealer.
Peter.

Yes, however, there is more than one MF red and more than one MF grey on that list. Which ones are correct for the year 1960?
