I went to fleet farm and bought 2 tail/flashers. On the left fender there is the rear work/road light that Willy mentioned. On mine, the red light inside the worklight(actually a small bulb outside the halgen, halogen has a transparent red coating on the outside) On the back of that light is a on/off/on toggle switch, to turn on either the work light or the road/flasher combo. The bulb behind the halogen is connected to the direct current, before it goes to the flasher fuse also in the housing. After the flasher fuse it just goes up to the fender. One thing to do is make sure that you have a good ground on your fender, or you will spend hours trying to figure out why it isn't working. On my 165, the rear halogen bulb had the prongs broke off where the wires screw on the back, so I just put on a new worklight, mounted it about 18" above the fender, just so it is shining down on the implement instead of right at it. It should be better for unloading chopper boxes. My dad did that to our 285 a few years back when the same thing happened to it's original worklight, and it is better because when hauling manure, the light shines over the front of the spreader and you can see what's going on inside the spreader a little easier. On a side note, I thought that the 165's and similar models came with atleast 1 flasher on the fender, atleast that's the way I've always seen them. Mine had a flasher on it before, but it broke off when the tire chain tore it off. (the fender nailed me in the head then landed in my lap, I'm pretty damn lucky from that incident, all I got was a really big goose-egg on my forehead and a throbbing headache) Now I just gotta mount the other flasher on the other side where there never was one, and splice into the wire for the other flasher. Should be really nice when it's all done. Don
