Ran out of diesel how to prime

i have a massey 135 it ran out of diesel today i filled it up took out two screws on the carbutretor until diesel shot out of the holes closed them backk up the tractor ran perfect for about ten minutes and died can someone tell me how to properly prime diesel engine

If it ran for 10 minutes then died you have
another problem,under normal conditions it should
take less than a minute to bleed it self when
running.Probably should change the fuel filter
while your at it.We just pull ours,shoot a little
starting fluid into the breather,and don't bleed
anything.It will miss for a minute or so,then
run good.

Big Dean Austin has some great pictures on a web site that can help. One of them fully describes how to bleed the fuel system on a 135 diesel. He also sells a CD that contains this and MUCH more.
