I have a 1150 and the PTO will not hyd. disengage. If you pull up on the hyd. unloading valve the PTO stops and you can shift it in and out with the manual shift beside the seat. Can the valve in the dash be the problem. If so can it be rebuilt. The Multi-Power works good.

If you have a IPTO. It has a hydraulic brake, if it's worn out it will not stop the PTO. To fix this you have to split the tractor behind the transmission. There is a small hydraulic piston attached to the IPTO assembly that pinches down on a floating ring on the PTO hub in the OFF position. I had to replace the hub on mine two years ago because the hub broke. The IPTO runs off the same hydraulic pump that the Multi-power does. Good Luck.

The PTO is fully engaged with the PTO shift lever in either position. It will drive implements with full power in the off position. And the shift lever is hard to shift back and forth with the engine running.

I had a 1130 that had the same problem. I seem that there is just a lot of natural drag through the PTO clutch. As long as it quit turning under load I lived with it. Had to turn the engine off to hook up and unhook PTO shaft. There may be some leekby on the control on the dash. Other than that it was a good tractor. IMHO Drill in Alberta
