My 255 has remote hydraulics. I use large round hay bales and have a lot of trouble with the lever on the remote hydraulic control popping out of the lifting position when initially lifting and when moving the tractor with the bale lifted. What is causng this and what can I do to correct it. Thanks in advance.

Ever tried weighing one of those babes? -might just be they are a bit on the heavy side, so the lever release is a hint about overload....

Thanks, Pop, for your reply. I bought the tractor from my next door neighbor who is also my hay supplier and he says that he believes his bales of hay are now larger and heavier, and that is the reason it pops out. I've only had the tractor for one hay-feeding season and it worked OK at the beginning of the season but got progressively worse as time passed.

Big Dean emailed me a parts breakout diagram of the dual valve and gave me some instructions about how to adjust the lifting weight. After I do a bit more research on what constitutes "overload", I'm going to try that this week and will let you know how it worked out.
