I bought a MF135 with 18.4X16 tires on the rear and I want to put a taller ag tire on. I was thinking of 11.2X28 or 11.2X24. What subjects should I be coincerned with? How much pulling powerwill I loose? Will I be able to go slow enough to use my roto tiller? Do you have any recommendations?

Charlie -

The outside diameter, and therefore circumference is about the same on all of them. So your ground speed will be so close as not to change speed or power.

14.9x24 are also about the same OD, and will fit.

135's came with 13.6 28's as standard equipment. By the way, what was a fellow with such an oddball size tire on the rear, doing anyway? The drawbar is low enough with regular sixe tires.

Those 18" odd size tires would be you standard orchard traction tire.

They also came with 14.9-24 and those 18.4-16 as factory options according to the parts book and owner's manual.

All three of these tires are between 52 and 55" OD as I figure them. Check a tractor tire page like>Link
