My MF35 has just started to leak at the PTO. Just a little, maybe an ounce overnight. As I have said before, I am mechanically challenged, so is this a big deal? Maybe a seal?
Thanks, C. T.

CT, Indeed it sounds like the seal. Not a difficult job but you have to be careful about it.
When you remove the back plate bolts you may fing the shaft hard to pull so take a punch and insert it in the pto shaft hole which you can then use a pry bar against it to pull it out BUT do not pull the shaft more than 3 inches or so since you may have fun to reinstall it afterwards to the degree that some had to split the axle casing to reinstall it.

I was about to forget that you should park your tractor's nose down in a depression or similar if you want to avoid draining all the oil.

Good Luck and feel free to ask some more info before undertaking the work.

Norm, thanks for the advice. I will not hesitate to ask you for more information when I start to repair my tractor. I am mechanically challenged, but not totally stupid, and I will not tackle anything that is too difficult.
