Steering wheel turns but front wheels hardly move. Is it the valve on the column? Can it be rebuilt?

The hydraulics are actually a two pump system. You need to check you remotes if you have them and the 3pt hitch. If they work then you would need to check the priority valve. ALso, check fluid level and fileter in front behind grill. A cligged filter will slow it down. Filter is about $8.00. You also need to check and see if you have IPTO. If the IPTO does not work, then it is not a hydraulic problem but a coupler problem in the IPTO clutch pack. The charging pump is undet the plate directly under the seat. It is driven by the IPTO clutch pack. If the coupler wears out it will frist slow the hydraulics downand then completely fail. Two possible fixes necessary. First is to remove clutch pack and check coupler. If coupler is bad and has damagedthe shaft, then you must split the tractor at front behind engine to get pto drive shaft out. WIll need to split WIDE open as this shaft is long and is in the center of clutch output shaft.

I am going through this right now with my 1135.

Do any other hyd functions work? The motor is in fornt of the firewall. Dont think it is likely that the motor is your trouble. more like the lack of pressure to it. Does it hiss when you turn the wheel? Are there any major external leaks? Luke
