Just got one myself. A MF 35 Deluxe diesel, with a Perkins A3.152 engine. Like Chuck mentioned, the tractor S/N is on a plate below-left of the steering wheel. Ya' can't miss it.. if it's not there...??!! If you've got the Perkins diesel, the Engine S/N is on the left side of the engine (as you sit on the tractor), above and behind the injector pump, on a machined surface just below the head/block joint. Go to the web site below.. a prime source for Perkins engine parts. Leave your name, phone number and engine number in the 'Contact' box (should be on the 'Order Parts' page). If you're lucky, Brian will call you back. I do believe he knows each and every Perkins engine and it's application by their first name.

I'm going through the 'fix-it-up' phase with mine right now. Lemme' know how it goes. Good luck.

At the left of the Yesterday's Tractors page, in the left side-bar, go to the section on "Research & Info." Fourth from the bottom is "Serial Numbers." Click on it and on the link to your make for a list of serial numbers by year. On my MF-35 eluxe, the serial number is on a plate on the dash, left of and below the wheel.

Go to Big Dean's site at>Link

Get the manuals. I bought my operating manual from the manuals link at the top of the YT web page, but found my Massey Ferguson dealer has them for significantly less cost. I'm buying my service and parts manual from him.

Come back here with questions as you go - best source of help.

Others may have other links to suggest.
