Thanks to all for the help to date on getting my tractor working and running as good as it is. When I bought it, it came with a loader but it will only raise up about 3 feet. In hunting around I located what I belive to be the reservior behind the front grill and in front of the radiator. When I pulled the dipstick, the fluid is so low, it will not even mark the stick. My question is what kind of fluid does it use?

Another question is what is a good replacement shock that I can use on my seat. The current one is shot.

Last question, what is a good source for parts for a three point hitch. Mine seeme to be missing quite a few parts. Would anyone have a pic or diagram of what it should look like?

Thanks for the help

For my seat I used a shock that goes on the cabs of semi trucks. The ones with the air ride cabs. The lenght was right, I just had to narrow the bushing on the shock a little bit.
