supers had the chrysler and seniorshad the continental..neither have low end torque as that is an affliction of flathead motors..also both have a very fast 1st gear so unless you are allowed to run any mph on track or put smaller wheels and tires on to reduce gearing you would be best suited to find an overhead valve tractor or go with diff configuration..i have a super in rough shape that i would sell..email if interested

I bought a Super 101 from a friend last spring and gave $1200 cash. He used it for pulling and said the onlything was no low end torgue. I use it for my hobby farm and its a decent tractor althought it doesnt have hydraulics or live pto.

Mr. Garland

You probaby already have my E-Mail. I sent it before reading some of your responses. My Massey 44 has good low end torque. It won five trophies in the "Farmstock" division this past summer. It does not compete well in any higher classes. If you want to pull farmstock a Massey 44 with the 4-cyclinder Continantal will do fine. If you are interested in a 1951 Massey 44 let me know.
