I recently purchased a 44 with a chev truck engine in it. Very nice conversion but the serial number plate is gone. Could somebody help me with some ideas as to what type/year this tractor is. This information would be most helpful re ordering a parts/maint/operators manual. Thanks, BB in Western PA

Hey Bruce...I have contemplated such a combination. Did they do a clean job on the conversion?? Would be interested in details. Thanks, Fred

Where at in western pa? I'm there myself. Shoot me an e-mail if you still need help. I did my 44 two winters ago and she still is in fine shape. I can also help you out with parts sources locally. I now where there is a 44 right now in pcs. but everything looks good. Price is right the guy is hurting for $. Almost bought her myself but settled for saving a Cub from a slow death in the woods. Good Luck!
